Selection of asphalt mixing equipment

2023-09-04

Asphalt mixing equipment is a complete set of equipment used for the large-scale production of asphalt mixtures, and is an essential equipment for the construction of highways, graded highways, municipal roads, airports, and ports. The model and production capacity of the mixing equipment are usually determined based on the working conditions, construction requirements, quantities, and construction period of the asphalt pavement.
Asphalt mixing equipment is divided into forced intermittent and continuous types according to construction technology; It is divided into fixed and mobile modes of transportation.
The following content will help customers have a clear understanding of the classification and selection of mixing equipment.
1. "Fixed asphalt mixing equipment" or "Mobile asphalt mixing equipment"?
1) If the construction site is fixed, select 'Fixed', otherwise select 'Move'. The production of mobile phones is relatively small and not widely used in China; If the quantity of work on the same construction site is relatively small and there are frequent transitions, choose "move", otherwise choose "fixed".
2. "Forced intermittent asphalt mixing equipment" or "continuous asphalt mixing equipment"?
The mandatory intermittent host system is complete, and the intermittent geothermal aggregate measurement adopts a "single bucket scale"; The continuous host does not have a "screening system" or a separate mixing system, and a belt scale is used for continuous cold aggregate measurement. Therefore, the structure is simple, the system is few, and the installation and maintenance are convenient. However, there is a high requirement for the stability of overall supply:
1) If the source, grading quality, moisture content, and dust content of the aggregate are stable, continuous type can be selected; Otherwise, it is recommended to use forced intermittent mode;
2) If the mixing plant site allows the construction of higher buildings, choose "forced intermittent"; if not, choose "continuous";
3) The primary consideration for the owner is the cost of product procurement and maintenance and operation. The "continuous" procurement cost and maintenance operation cost are relatively low, but there are high requirements for the specification level and supply stability of aggregates;
4) When adding recycled materials in a "forced intermittent" manner, an additional "regeneration system" must be added, and the proportion of recycled old materials added usually does not exceed 30-50%; Continuous "usually has a regeneration function, and the addition ratio of recycled materials can usually reach 50%.
